04-03-2024 till 10-03-2024 Actually, this was the vacation I've been waiting for for months. No, it's not really spectacular, but this is exactly what I need. A week away with my wife and some fishing rods to fish for pike. Nice and basic;) Unfortunately it was a good search for the pikes this week. As a result, I didn't catch anything for a few days. Afterwards it turned out that several pikes were lying together on a small part of the canal. I managed to catch 3 pike on Saturday.
06-03-2024 Tuesday we also went fishing, but unfortunately we didn't manage to catch anything. Luckily it went better today and we caught 2 pike within 10 minutes of each other.
09-03-2024: Thursday we didn't go fishing for a day, but went to the beautiful city of Zwolle. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to catch a pikes on Friday either. That's why we went to the same part of the canal where I caught the pike on Wednesday. This turned out to be a good move because almost in the same place as Wednesday we managed to catch 3 pikes of a nice size.
10-03-2024: Because we had to go home today, we quickly went to the same part of the canal where we managed to catch the pike yesterday. Unfortunately, the cold easterly wind was even stronger today. Except for a small pike, the pike didn't feel like it today. However, this pike ensured that we as a family have already caught as many pike as in the whole of 2023.
18-03-2024: It remains my favorite fish to catch in the spring, the tench.
26-03-1980: It wasn't really easy today, but in the end I managed to catch the first carp of 2024. And what a beautiful winter color it had.
