December is always the first of the 3 difficult fishing months. The question is always what the weather will do. For the upcoming weeks they predict temperatures below 0 degrees. It is of course not impossible, but it will be difficult to catch a fish. Fortunately I managed to catch 3 fish last weekend and secure the catch for the month of December. Let the winter come now ;)
10-12-2022: Today it was cold, but with little wind and lots of sun still beautiful pike weather. Soon I managed to catch a pike and hours later something big appeared to be on the line. After 5 minutes a carp came into the net that was hooked in 1 of its fins.
11-12-2022: Coming night they predict temperatures of -5 degrees. So I quickly walked past a few polder ditches with one of my friends. I think we can close another good fishing year with this pike.

2022 has also passed quickly. Fortunately, the word covid was used a lot less in 2022 than in 2021. And with trips to the ebro delta, various carp holidays to France and trout fishing in Denmark, all travel restrictions have also come to an end. It was a great year and an intermediate step to all the fishing holidays that have now been booked for 2023.
