06-07-2020 till 10-07-2020:The Netherlands is also getting more and more beautiful carp lakes, including De Ganzenkuil. Already on arrival I had the feeling, these are going to be a few nice days. I had the whole lake to myself and immediately took the first place. I have to learn to take the time to investigate a lake before I go fishing because the first two nights I did not catch fish.
After two nights of catching nothing, I went for a walk. At the last spot I saw a group of 3 carp swimming. Quickly demolished camp Holland, put the boat on the car and drove to the other side of the lake to rebuild everything there.
Eventually i catch two carp.
18-07-2020: Last weekend we booked a weekend to holiday park roompot Lunzbergen. From the campsite it is a 15 minute bike ride to the canal in Borger. Several small fish were caught, but we also saw some carp swimming.
20-07-2020: Gobies remain weird fish but great for the kids to catch. In the meantime they are starting to become a plague in the Dutch waters.
