03-09-2022: I make this site mainly to push myself to go more fishing. Don't hang out on the couch, but grab a fishing rod and go out to put some fish photos on the site. Today was one of those days where I didn't feel like doing anything. Still go fishing but after two hours no pike caught. Because something had to be added to the site, I started catching some small bass. Within a few casts I got the first perch on the line. A few throws later, a pike suddenly snapped on a 2cm bait. Still glad I went fishing ;)
04-09-2022: After yesterday's beautiful pike we went for a walk along a larger lake today. And today we were lucky again because a nice pike bit the shad.
09-09-2022: Today my wife had to go to the town of Ossenzijl for a meeting. And what was the best thing I could do on this day. Yup, come along to do some fishing there. Unfortunately no pike but with 3 perch we had a nice day.
12-09-2022: Rented a boat today at the Plashuis in Loosdrecht. In Augustes 2018 I already caught a nice carp here while night fishing. Today was a quiet day catching roach and bream.
13-09-2022: Today my wife had to work, so I drove with her to fish at some ponds in Rotterdam. Finally caught a nice carp. Perhaps the most fun is all the interested hikers who passed by.
16-09-2022 till 19-09-2022: September and October are always my favorite carp months. That's why I drove to Belgium this weekend to fish in one of the new ponds of Carpinsula, "Frenzypool". The first night started well with two carp. Then it rained for 48 hours straight. During this period I have not had a bite. Fortunately I managed to catch 2 beautiful carp in 10 minutes the last morning.
23-09-2022: Before I leave to France tomorrow, I went fishing for carp today.
24-06-2022 till 27-09-2022: Finally there was another carp holiday. This time to Lac Rogers in France. The lake 'Bleu lake' is not known to be a easy lake. Because a friend went along who has never fished in France, I was afraid that we would not catch anything. But luckily we both managed to catch two beautiful carp.
30-10-2022: After a few carp fishing trips it was time to go after the pike again. At a 10-minute walk from my house is a polder path that I had never actually walked before. So today I fished at all the ditches with a swimbait. Finally caught two nice pike.
