17-02-2018: The same place as last month but a different pike. The past few weeks have been cold in combination with a strong wind. Like almost everyone in the Netherlands, I also had a flu. But today the sun was shining and wind seemed scarcely present so there had to be fished.
23-02-2018 till 01-03-2018: Sometimes things do not go as planned. Exactly the week of fishing in the Biesbosch one off the national parcs in the netherlands fell in a heavy frost period so we only could 2 days fishing on pike with sardines . Luckily we managed to catch a nice pike on the first night, but after that it remained silent. However, we regularly received false bite notifications because beavers swam against the lines.
