01-03-2023: On our way back from a fun day at the zoo, my son and I got out of the car to walk the last few miles back home. Fortunately, the fishing was better this time and my son managed to catch 2 pikes.
02-03-2023: Thursday was a beautiful day. There was no wind and plenty of sun so the shallow water had plenty of time to warm up. The pike were clearly active because apart from two caught pike we managed to lose 1 and we had a follower who refused to take the bait.
11-03-2023: Today we went fishing in beautiful Almere. The intention was to catch a few pikes in the nature reserve just outside the city. Unfortunately there were more beavers than pikes so we ended up entering a residential area where this pike saved my day.
19-03-2023: The last beautiful day. They predict a lot of rain and wind in the coming weeks. Luckily we were able to catch a nice pike today.
20-03-2023: Okay, I'm not the best pikeperch fisherman there is in the Netherlands. That's why I'm so happy today after catching this amazing fish ;)
