04-02-2024: February is also off to a good start. Today i fished with my eldest son. In a short time we both managed to catch a nice pike. After I lost two pike, my son managed to catch a nice big one.
02-02-2024: Unfortunately, it are not the best photos today. Today it was wind force 6 so I didn't dare to put the camera on the tripod. Despite the strong wind, I still managed to catch two nice pikes.
10-02-2024: Today I went pike fishing with my son and daughter. The weather was beautiful, not much sun but with temperatures around 12 degrees and no wind the weather was very nice. Soon my son managed to catch a nice fat pike after which my daughter unfortunately lost one. After this, my son managed to catch 2 more. And I lost one too.

There are those places where the pike outsmart me every time.For example, there is a ditch in Zoetermeer where I have hooked a pike several times, or that they chase my bait. But I hadn't managed to catch it yet. Also today, a pike followed the bait without taking it. I managed to hook pike number 2, but then it came loose again. But in the end I managed to reel in this pike.
19-02-2024: In between the rain showers, I went fishing with my youngest son for a few hours. And the pike were looking forward to it because in total we managed to catch four pike and a perch.
20-02-2024: After I went fishing yesterday with my youngest son, today it was my oldest son who came along. Today it was a lot harder, but in the end my eldest son managed to catch 2 pike.
