06-06-2021: June will be a very nice fishing month. Today we went fishing for pikeperch, perch and pike with a boat from Drimmeren. Okay, we always catch a pike and perch, but today we also managed to catch a very nice pikeperch. What else are we going to do this month!? check the site again at the end of the month ;)

14-06-2021 till 18-06-2021: Finally, the borders to Belgium are open again! Together with two friends we went fishing for a mid-week in one of the lakes (Annie lake) of Karperhoeve. In total we managed to catch 10 carp, a sturgeon and a giebel carp, of which I managed to hook 3 carp and the sturgeon myself.
18-06-2021 till 20-06-2021: From Karperhoeve I drove immediately to the ponds of Carpinsula in Holsbeek. This time the pond "bellypool" was at my disposal. The water is not known for being easy but luckily I managed to catch the first nice carp within an hour. When Saturday carp number 2 and 3 bit and I also managed to catch a giebel carp on Sunday morning, I thought it was good and drove home a day earlier. After a few short nights this week I need some sleep to go back to work.
27-06-2021: After an hour drive we arrived in the beautiful harbor town of Huizen. The pike rod was quickly prepared and soon the first small pike was caught. Everywhere we saw small fish swimming and where small ones are , big ones must also swim! Still it took 2 hours before a bigger pike managed to get the bait.
28-06-2021: After an overnight stay in Huizen it was a 10-minute drive to the town of Naarden. This is a really cool place to fish!! There are two canals around the old town and there are also a few places in the city where you can fish. And the best part is that with the Dutch permit you can fish anywhere in these canals without any problems. Unfortunately we were unable to catch any big fish but who cares in such an environment!
29-06-2021: Today i had a nice day fishing in the nieuwe waterweg in Hoek van Holland. Finally i caught no sea bass but of the 15 Twaite shad, i actually caught 3. It are special fish to have on a line. Often they make jumps from one meter high which is also the time to lose them.
30-06-2021: The last day of June and what's a better way to end it than with a day of trout fishing ;). Today trout pond Port de Peche was visited and after 4 hours of fishing there were 7 trouts in the cool box.
