09-06-2020: Finally I am free for three days and the best part is that they predict good weather these three days. Day 1 fishing;)
10-06-2020: Day number 2 of my 3 days off. A float and a can of corn were enough to catch three carp.
14-06-2020: I suspect the weatherman had drunk a bottle of vodka yesterday before making his prediction. No, it was not a warm sunny day as he predicted, but a lot of rain. Fortunately it got a bit drier in the afternoon and we managed to catch a pike.
17-06-2020: Today we went out by bicycle. Each with a fishing rod and a can of corn. We managed to catch two carp.
21-06-2020: My car is packed for 4 nights of carp and sturgeon fish next week. But just quickly caught a pike. I am almost certain that I caught the same pike in 2018 (see 22-01-2018) 1 kilometer away from where I caught it now. It is nice to keep the variety in fish species.
The road to heaven
21-06-2020 till 26-06-2020:In retrospect, it might not have been the smartest idea to go sturgeon fishing in the summer months. With temperatures around 30 degrees, the sturgeons made little sense to eat. In the end we managed to catch 3 sturgeons.
