02-06-2024: The fish were looking forward to it today. After a nice bass that my eldest son managed to catch, it was my daughter who had her picture taken with a nice pike. For me, the 3rd pike-perch of this year was definitely worth celebrating.
09-06-2024: Been fishing for two hours without a bite, and then suddenly two fish in 5 minutes.
11-06-2024: Almost every Tuesday I am fishing in North Rotterdam, including today. After a bad start in which I lost 4 carp, I eventually managed to catch 2 carp.
15-06-2015: The last day in which they predict rain and strong winds before summer really arrives. Personally, I am not in favour of fishing for predatory fish with high temperatures. So today its the last day we are pike fishing. In the end, my eldest son and I both managed to catch a pike. And he caught 6 perch.
24-06-2024: Today is the first day of the year with a temperature above 25 degrees. So I left the predator fishing rods at home and went carp fishing. I think a number of carp still have to spawn because they were not really interested in food. In the end I managed to catch a nice carp and a tench.
29-05-2024: Finally the weather is getting a bit cooler. Today I sat at the bank with the feeder rod. In addition to the tench that I managed to catch, I unfortunately also lost a nice one.
30-06-2024: Now that almost everything has been arranged after the move, it is time to travel again. Okay, we didn't really go far, but a nice night away to Lekkerkerk. Of course we had to fish in the river Lek today and tomorrow.
To my own surprise, I managed to catch 5 pike-perch and a nice perch, after which we left for the hotel.
