01-02-2022: January was a nice month with nice pikes, but February also started well. Today I quickly walked around behind my house and finally managed to catch 3 pikes. It is noticeable that the pike Lie deeper because of the storm of the past few days. The spinners have therefore been exchanged for heavy shads.
05-02-2022: On my home page I have a link to the fish planner. By this link you can see where you can fish in the Netherlands with your fishing permit. This week I was looking for new fishing spots and I came at a spot in a nature reserve that I always thought fishing was forbidden. But guess what, we can fish here too. I went pikefishing for 2 hours today and finally caught 2 pike's.
07-02-2022: Today we drove back to the nature reserve at Zoetermeer. A different part than Sunday, but this part was also very beautiful. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain, the ditch water had turned brown, but eventually i caught a pike.
08-02-2022: Near Hazerswoude-dorp are 9 ponds, in 7 we are allowed to fish with the correct fishing permits. I was checked today by the police so the correct permit is important! Unfortunately it was not my day. I managed to catch a pike but loose 2 and 2 just missed the lure.

Today I drove back to the ponds at Hazerswoude with my eldest son. Due to the strong wind it was cold today, so we went fishing with dead bait so that we could stay warm in the car. After an hour the bite alarm went off for the first time and my son managed to catch a nice pike. Unfortunately the second pike came loose.
