01-07-2024: The second day of our weekend was a little different. Fortunately, I managed to catch a nice pike-perch again, but especially the rising water was a surprise. Within fifteen minutes this increased by 50CM. Every year, several fishermen in the Netherlands lose their lives because they take too many risks. And to be honest, we didn't see this coming either.
06-07-2024: Actually, with the strong wind today, I expected more pike. But I am also more than satisfied with this beautiful pike.
08-07-2024: With wind force 2, today was a nice day to go fishing with the bellyboat. Now that the weather is getting warmer and more and more fishermen are coming, catches are starting to decline. But still managed to catch 2 pike and a zander.
13-07-2024 till 19-07-2024: Another new adventure in beautiful France. This time we didn't go fishing for carp, but for barbel in the Meuse. In addition to 6 nice barbels, we also managed to catch some nice roach and two small chubs. A great fun week in a beautiful cottage.
