01-05-2020: Because there was still enough space in the freezer, we also went trout fishing today, this time in trout pond Het Oosterseveld. Within 15 minutes we managed to catch the first 5 trout, after which it was silent for an hour. But in the end the score came to 12 caught trout.
02-05-2020: Today we drove to trout pond de woldstek in Ruinerwold. This time not to go trout fishing but to see if we could catch one of the sturgeons, carp or catfish. Unfortunately the weather was not so good this morning given the rain.
03-05-2020: After the walk today we did not go fishing in the canal in front of our house but in a side ditch next to our house. Also here some nice fish were caught.
07-05-2020: Today I made a new rod box. To be honest; my kids made the box and like a real manager I especially got in the way .....
09-05-2020: Today was the last beautiful day of the week. Tomorrow they will predict rain and north wind, causing the temperature to drop from 23 degrees today to 13 degrees tomorrow. Today carp fishing will start in Zoetermeer, which ultimately resulted in two carp.
10-05-2020: The intention was actually to catch a few carp today, but it was the gibelcarp that were biting. Since I was sitting in the sun and did not feel like going to another place, I stayed. In the end I managed to catch 17 gibelcarp.
13-05-2020: Now that the schools are open again, there is also some time to go out together. Before we drove to our hotel in the east of the country, we went fishing for a few hours at fishing pond Het Mun. Unfortunately no carp and catfish caught only 7 sturgeons. But with better weather than predicted and no kids around us, it was a relaxing day.
29-05-2020 till see june: Finally, after three canceled carp holidays, I was finally able to fish again at carp pond het Broek. Everything went well this weekend, the weather was beautiful and with 6 carp, three of which with a very nice weight, it couldn't be better. This pond is a must for the average fisherman.
