02-05-2023: The carp are not yet in the spawning and now that it was a little cooler today it was a nice day to go carp fishing. Eventually 2 carp caught in one of the ponds in Rotterdam.
06-05-2023: Last week I was still carp fishing in France. Today i'am flyfishing in the Netherlands . That's my "problem"! I just love fishing ;)
13-05-2023: Summer is finally coming in the Netherlands as well. Today temperatures of 22 degrees with a little wind. A nice day of feeder fishing with 6 fish in the end.
14-05-2023: It was another beautiful day to go fishing with the feederrod. Remains great to catch carp of this size with the feederrod.
18-05-2023 till 21-05-2023 Sometimes fishing trips don't go quite as planned. The plan was to catch a few nice bream in the river Maas this weekend. Unfortunately, the gobies got to the maggots so quickly that the other fish didn't have time to eat. But luckily we managed to catch 5 small asp with the match rod.

22-05-2023: A nice evening of fly fishing with my oldest son.
23-05-2023: Sometimes it's just fun to catch some roach. This is also the case today, relaxing in one of the nature reserves in Delft.
26-05-2023: A nice day of carp fishing in one of the ponds in Rotterdam. Eventually managed to catch 5 carp.
28-05-2023: Yesterday the pike season in the Netherlands reopened. Together with my oldest son I went fishing for a few hours which eventually yielded 2 pike.
30-05-2023: Actually, the intention was to catch a number of carp. But despite the fact that I have seen a number of them swimming, it did not work out. Fortunately, after a few roach, I managed to catch 3 bream.
